Introduction
Hi! My name is Melissa Phillips. My husband and I live in Southern Nevada with our 3 year old little girl. We have been married for 7 ½ years. I love spending time with my family hunting, fishing, horseback riding, and traveling, and when I’m alone I enjoy reading, decorating, baking and of course shopping for MORE scrapbook supplies!
I have always had a love for creating things for other people, and I enjoy the process of working with my hands to turn ordinary paper into something heartfelt. This has become even more important to me over the last year and I have purposefully made time for paper crafting in my life. My loves are card making and altering anything that sparks my interest. I love every minute of it and I love to share my creations with those I love. You can see my work in publications such as PaperArt, PaperCrafts, Cards Magazine, Paper Trends, Scrapbook and Cards Today, and Scrapbook Trends.
I feel so fortunate to have found a hobby that gives me so much fulfillment and to have such a sweet and supportive husband who makes it possible for me to further explore this love of mine. I try and squeeze in a minute everyday to play and create. It’s a wonderful way to relax and express my self. I look forward to sharing my ideas and learning from each of you. I have enjoyed creating with Paper Salon products and am so happy to have the opportunity to be a Guest Artist for such a wonderful company.
